Expecting a new addition soon? Are you and your pelvic floor prepared?
Agile is excited to offer 6-week Prenatal Foundations for Birth Courses. These courses will provide comprehensive education on various important topics, including antenatal preparation, labor and delivery, and pain management. Participants will explore birthing options and positions, methods for reducing the risks of perineal tears, and postpartum care strategies that support the transition through the 4th trimester. The program aims to prepare expectant parents for both the birth experience and their return to activity afterward.
These classes combine education and exercise to strengthen and prepare your pelvic floor. They also teach effective birthing positions and hands-on skills for labour, beneficial for both you and your birthing partner. Our sessions are led by a skilled pelvic health physiotherapy team, along with guest practitioners who specialise in various relevant topics. Each week, participants receive valuable resources and handouts, ensuring you have all the information you need at your fingertips. Join us to enhance your birthing experience with expert guidance and practical knowledge.
Classes are highly recommended for expectant mothers entering their third trimester, specifically from 27 weeks onwards, as this timing allows for the maximum benefit from the sessions. However, if you are interested in attending earlier, please feel free to contact us! We aim to group participants based on their due dates to foster a supportive community during this significant phase of life.
