Megan Kuciak - Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Qualifications & Training: Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (Canadian Academy of Osteopathy), Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology (UNB),

Professional Membership: Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN)

Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Megan is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a passion for health and wellness and is dedicated to helping her patients feel their best. Through gentle, manual manipulation, Megan’s goal is to facilitate the body’s inherent ability to self-heal and self-regulate by addressing areas of strain, stress or dysfunction that may be impeding normal vascular, neural or lymphatic flow. Her approach involves a holistic, full body assessment and treatment that addresses all layers of tissue in the body, improving alignment and motion capabilities. Megan is dedicated to enhancing her patient’s overall well-being, and is passionate about tailoring each treatment to the unique needs of each individual.

While pursuing her Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, she completed over 4200 hours of training that involved an extensive study of functional anatomy, physiology and osteopathic principles and techniques as well as 1000 supervised clinical hours.

Prior to studying Osteopathy, she studied Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick, while playing varsity volleyball. It was through dealing with her own aches, pains and injuries as an athlete that Megan became curious about different therapies that could help her feel and perform her best.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys being active and soaking in all that the city of Victoria has to offer. You can find her playing volleyball or tennis with friends, going for walks and runs along the water and exploring other parts of Vancouver Island.
